she cried and cried and cried
she bled her little heart
drained of love and lust
and tears of joy
her world was torn apart
he was everything to her
her world was in his eyes
her secrets up and left with him
the day he went away
many others, tried to love her
but they were never really him
she tried and tried to hide her tears
she knew he wasn't coming back
one day she was driving, with her mom
through a new estate
and suddenly, and without a hint
she met his eyes again
she watched on, at her first dog
he played fetch with the kids
and out of love, she left him be
with his new
family.
